Kyron: All Activity Badges - awarded 24th August 2024
Over the summer, some of our oldest Squirrels set themselves the challenge of achieving all of their activity badges. While working together during various sessions set up especially for them, Kyron became the first of our members to achieve every badge for their section!
Poppy: All Activity Badges - awarded 4th September 2024
While Poppy worked with Kyron, there were certain elements he'd achieved already that Poppy still needed to do! When she was awarded her Brilliant Builder and Get Creative Badges, she checked off the last two on the list.
Poppy: YouShape Award - awarded 13th November 2024
At the time she earned it, the YouShape Award had only just been introduced for the Squirrel section.
To earn hers, Poppy guided the other Squirrels and Beavers through their Air Activities stage 1 badge by planning, representing and leading.
She became our first recipient of this special award.
Kyron & Poppy: Chief Scout Acorn Awards - awarded 24th August 2024
During their last summer session, Kyron and Poppy checked off the final elements of their Chief Scout Acorn Awards, making them the group's first ever Chief Scout recipients!
Evelyn: Chief Scout Acorn Award - awarded 23rd October 2024
At the end of a busy evening of Air Activities, Evelyn had completed enough to check off the last requirements for her Chief Scout award!
Sam: Chief Scout Bronze Award - awarded 23rd October 2024
Not only did Evelyn receive her Acorn Award, Sam was also given his Bronze Award as well, having completed his final challenge that night!
Poppy P & Annalise: Chief Scout Bronze Awards - awarded 18th December 2024
Two more Bronze Awards were given out at the final meeting of the year, well done Poppy and Annalise!
Mongoose: Official Wood Bead Presentation -
awarded 21st April 2024
As part of the annual St George's Day Parade, awards are presented to members of the District. Mongoose completed her leadership training and was awarded her Wood Beads by the Mayor of Gosport.
Otter: Official Wood Bead Presentation -
awarded 22nd June 2024
During the Opening Ceremony of the District Camp Activity Day, Otter was awarded her Assistant Lead Volunteer Wood Beads by the Mayor of Gosport.
Hedgehog: Wood Bead Training Completion - awarded 18th December 2024
During the final meeting of 2024, Hedgehog was awarded her 1st Gilwell neckerchief as part of completing her Wood Bead training, becoming our latest qualified leader.
