Emergency Aid S1

This week's meeting was all about the Emergency Aid Badge.

Each section of Scouting has its own badges it can earn, increasing in difficulty as they got older. But there are also staged badges which the oldest Scout down to the youngest Squirrel can earn. This week's meeting was all about one of those.

Part of earning this badge was to know how to call for help so we talked about the different emergency services and how to contact them.

We then learned about the Safe Airways Position and how to put someone into it.

One of the things Otter can do aside from leading our group is to teach people First Aid sp she showed us how to put someone into the position, then we had a go!
