This week our two sections separated to work on different projects.

The Squirrels went with Otter, Hedgehog, Toad, Rabbit and Robin to talk about emotions for their Feel Good badge. With Otter's help, they identified different facial expressions and what they might mean, then used pens create different emotional faces on paper cups to grow cress in.

After that, they went outside where Toad played his guitar while they sang "If You're Happy and You Know It".

While the Squirrels were exploring emotions, the Beavers went with Mongoose, Kestrel and Turtle to learn about knots for some of their badges. With two different coloured lengths of paracord, they learned how to tie a reef knot, a figure of eight knot and a lark's head hitch.
