Getting Ready for Our First St George's Day Parade!

As we approach our first anniversary, we also approach our first St George's Day Parade.

Many people know that St George is the patron of England, but did you also know that he is also the patron of Scouting? The parade is a big deal for everyone in the movement and our first meeting back for the Summer Term saw us learning what the parade would entail.

As a brand new group, we didn't even have section flags until recently so we had to learn how to carry them and how to look after the flag bearer. It wasn't just the Beavers who had a try at this role.

The St George's Day Parade will take place on Sunday 21st April.
