Sprucing Up the Church

Squirrel Scouts and Beaver Scouts with a leader plant a small bush
Sprucing up the church

As part of their badges, Squirrels and Beavers have to think of and help others. Saturday's nice weather saw them tidying up their meeting place car park area - weeding and litter picking.

They also replaced the fabric flowers with some mixed narcissi bulbs and fuchsia plants.

Our members have made a commitment to water them regularly and hopefully there will be two beautifully flowering shrubs soon.

They also found an assortment of wildlife - pupae, millipedes, woodlice, snails, centipedes, spiders and worms!
