Smiles all round at the end of the parade

What an amazing day! We took part in our first ever St George's Day parade today and even had perfect weather for it! Bright and sunny but not too warm.

One Squirrel Scout carries a flag with two other Squirrel Scouts escorting.
Poppy was an amazing flag bearer, escorted by the wonderful Evelyn and Louie

Poppy did an amazing job carrying the shiny new Squirrel flag while Evelyn and Louie escorted her.

Tahlia carried the flag for the first half of the parade with Annalise and Poppy escorting

For the first half of the parade, Thalia carried the new Beaver flag, escorted by Annalise and Poppy. When we got to the library to start coming back, Thalia swapped with Annalise.

After the parade, we went to the Gosport Timespace for a service. Considering it was their first ever and how young the smallest Squirrels are, they sat and listened so well!

One of our leaders, Mongoose, was awarded her Wood Beads and certificate by the Mayor of Gosport for completing her leadership training

During the presentation part of the service, our very own Mongoose was presented with her Wood Beads to mark the completion of her leader training.
